About Me

I grew up in the Middle Tennessee area and received my Masters' degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University in 2020.  I have lived in the Middle Tennessee area since I was a toddler. I first became interested in counseling when I was in middle school after I got diagnosed with a hearing disability and anxiety. I sought counseling to help me navigate these new parts of my life in order to help me to gain a new perspective.

Since then, I have discovered how powerful it can be to help others feel heard, seen, and understood by another individual. I chose to become a counselor because I believe in the power of listening to others' stories and to help clients make personal connections and deeper meanings within their lives'.  It has always been a dream of mine to serve others in order to help them find their voice and their purposes in this crazy journey we call life.

In my free time, I love going to different music shows around town (The Ryman and the Caverns are two of my favorite venues), watching movies and tv shows with my spouse, learning about history, hiking, taking photos of nature, and going on walks with my two weenie dogs, Lola and Rosie!

I love living in the Middle Tennessee region because of all the amazing music and art that comes out of this city! I grew up with a family member in the music industry and ever since I can remember, I have always loved the magical essence of the Nashville music and arts scene.
